Yoga Foster is looking to grow our team! We’re seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to work with our community of teachers as they go through our online training and as they implement yoga and mindfulness in their classrooms. Working alongside our Director of Experience, you’ll be the go-to team member to help teachers access and engage with our materials and resources, empowering them with tools to make their classrooms and school communities healthier places – physically, mentally, and socially.

What you’ll do at Yoga Foster:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Development to gather data – both hard metrics and storytelling materials – to bring Yoga Foster to life for donors and potential donors

  • Manage day-to-day communications with our network of 800+ educators

  • Supervise the collection and distribution of yoga mats to classrooms across the country

  • Assist our research consultant in gathering information from teachers to measure the impact of Yoga Foster programs

  • Engage with the latest news surrounding teaching, education, yoga in schools, physical activity, education technology, and wellness, sharing trends and insights internally as well as creating content for the Yoga Foster online community

What does Yoga Foster offer you?

At Yoga Foster we don’t just feel we’re making a difference; we measure it! On our 100% remote team you can work from anywhere in the world as you help build and maintain a platform to empower teachers with tools to take better care of themselves and their students. Being a part of our small team means you’ll have the chance to wear many hats and see the inner workings of a nimble, startup nonprofit. We also laugh a lot, enjoy good coffee and the occasional chocolate chip cookie, and build in intentional opportunities for personal growth.

About your experience and mindset:

  • You’re detail oriented – you know that every relationship we have with a teacher matters, and that grammar matters, too!

  • You’re an excellent planner. You are able to create, collaborate on, and execute a plan with your eye on the prize (whatever the goal is for the project).

  • You can balance group collaboration with working independently. You’re able to confidently work on your own, while checking in periodically to stay aligned and connected.

  • You’re empathic. Teachers are some of the hardest working, most under-recognized folks around – you should be able to channel that mindset in your interactions with them and in the flows and experiences you help design for them.
